Our Mission

The Junior League of Reno, Inc., is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The League's policies shall be in harmony with the policies of the Association.

The Junior League of Reno creates a lasting impact on our community and enriches the quality of lives for women and children through innovative projects, effective advocacy, generous community grants and collaborative partnerships.

Kids in the Kitchen

The Junior League of Reno, in partnership with Jennifer Bushman and the Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum presents


 Join us on Saturday, May 19, 2012  from 3:00 - 5:00pm for the kick off event of Kids in the Kitchen!

At the Nevada Discovery Museum
490 S. Center Street,  Downtown Reno

Kids will join Jennifer Bushman and Junior League Volunteers in hands-on preperation of healthy food options.

Fun for kids and a learning experience for adults!

 Kids in the Kitchen, an Association of Junior Leagues International League-wide program launched in 2006, and is designed to empower youth to make healthy lifestyle choices and reverse the growth of childhood obesity and its associated health issues.

The program is free and open to the public; however, participants will be required to pay the standard $8 Museum admission fee (free for children under one). To learn more about the program, contact the Junior League office at 775.826.0445.
