President’s Message

Thank you for your interest in the Junior League of Reno!  The Junior League is women building better communities.  We are an strong collective that develops leaders, promotes voluntarism and positively impacts our community.

Since our early roots as the Junior Service League established in 1969, our commitment has remained unwavering.  We develop exceptionally qualified civic leaders who can identify a community’s most pressing needs and address them with meaningful, relevant programs and initiatives.  We are proud of our legacy and excited for our future.

The Junior League is unique in that it is dynamic, and this is a transformative League year.  While the Junior League’s overarching goal is always to improve the lives women and children, we periodically assess our community’s largest issues, work to uncover an unmet need or even identify a future challenge and shift our projects and partnerships to address what matters to our community the most.  This is a strategic planning year; our members are empowered to determine where we go next.

The incredible women of the Junior League of Reno are the force that make change happen.  We are more than donations, we are doers. We are part of an international association of Junior Leagues encompassing more than 150,000 women.  We believe in the power of togetherness for the greater good.

I invite you to join us, partner with us, invest in us.  We are the Junior League of Reno and we are unstoppable.

Warm Regards,

Erica Kramer
